Motion Graphics Designer
The Next Gen Business is seeking a part-time Motion Graphics Designer with a focus on creating dynamic maps using Adobe After Effects. In this role, you will collaborate with our creative team to develop captivating and informative map-based visuals for various projects, enhancing user experience and promoting brand engagement. Responsibilities include designing and animating map elements, incorporating data-driven insights, and ensuring consistency in style and quality. The ideal candidate possesses strong graphic design, visual design, and typography skills, along with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through motion graphics.

Motion Graphics Designer

Join The Next Gen Business as a part-time Motion Graphics Designer, specializing in dynamic map creation using Adobe After Effects. In this position, you will work alongside our creative team to produce engaging and interactive maps that captivate our audience and elevate our brand presence.

You will be responsible for designing, animating, and refining map elements while maintaining a consistent visual style. The successful candidate will have a strong background in graphic design, visual design, and typography, as well as a talent for transforming data into captivating visual narratives through the art of motion graphics.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute the creative vision of your supervisor in animations for videos, trailers, and promotional content
  • Embrace and apply constructive feedback from supervisors
  • Collaborate effectively with the creative team to communicate design ideas
  • Manage projects from concept to completion
  • Support the efforts of other Design, Production, and Post-Production team members
  • Meet management-assigned deadlines
Experience & Requirements:
  • 3+ years of professional Animator experience
  • 2D and 3D animation experience
  • Cinema 4D and illustration experience preferred
  • Proficiency in After Effects
  • Familiarity with Creative Cloud: Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere
  • Experience with Google Web Designer a plus
  • Strong graphic design, visual design, and typography skills
  • A robust instinct for creative storytelling
  • Strong illustration and animation background
  • Ability to complete delegated tasks with minimal supervision
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
  • Capable of working under tight deadlines and in high-pressure situations
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Effective in both independent and team settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptable to both creative freedom and specific direction
  • Exceptional attention to detail
